4/11/1902: Testimonial, CSRC to SMO, No 8 Hospital, Bloemfontein: 'He has proved himself most energetic and painstaking, and was of the greatest assistance to me in the manner in which he conducted the sanitary, surgical and medical work in his camp. This was shown by its general excellenct sanitary condition, and the low mortality of its inhabitants for many months.' He leaves us because his services are required by his own corps.
