29/6/1901: TP Kenman, Asst Commr, Mafeting: Bothma was sent here from RC, Bloemfontein on intelligence work; his father is a refugee here and seems a respectable farmer but knows nothing of younger man except that he is sickly and said to have been exempt from active service against British. No objection to their coming.
