Name:Norvals Pont RC
Notes:7/2/1902: permit to return to NO after being in hospital, Bloemfontein

4/2/1901: BO Kellner to Superintendent, Norvals Pont: Mrs Swarts is greatly improved, cause of the evil cannot however be removed and the only operation, which is at present possible, she objects to. She cannot possibly travel alone. Asks for a female friend to be sent to fetch her back.
5/12/1901: Reply: Cannot receive her back.
4/12/1901: BO Kellner to CSRC: Dutchwoman, Swarts, was sent here from Norvals Pont in a deplorable state. She positively refuses to have anything done to her & there was only one operation possible which would deprive her from all intercourse with her husband. To this of course I must have her consent which she withholds. And as everyone is master over his own body, I cannot and should not do anything to her. I would be glad if you would send her back.

2/2/1901: MM Young, Matron to Superintendent, Norvals Pont: Sent to National Hospital for an operation. After medical examination the doctors find that nothing can be done for her. She is fretting very much & wants to return to the camp where her sister and children are. Can't you possibly arrange for her to return to her people? I shall be sorry to lose her, as she has been a great help to me doing ? Etc, but I feel deeply sorry for her. Please do what you can for her.
