Notes:25/9/1901: E Moore to Superintendent: application for fortnight's sick leave from 1 Oct and permit to PE and back;
27/9/1901: Superintendent to CSRC: she has been sick in hospital for 2 months but after a short change will probably be fit for duty;
20/9/1901: Reply: refusing; she has only served a short time, she should be allowed a rest in your camp and receive a convalescent diet.

3/1/1902: Sr Moore to Dr Martinius: Resigning.
3/1/1902: SRC Brandfort to CSRC: Recommending acceptance. The English & colonial sisters are constantly quarreling and while any of the latter remains at hospital, thinks there is bound to be friction. Sister Moore is the last.
7/1/1902: CSRC in reply: Asks if she will reconsider if put to camp work with the other two colonial nurses. Asks him to persuade her; can ill afford to lose nurses now.
16/1/1902: SRC to CSRC: She has not definitely been offered post of assistant camp matron, but has been spoken to on the matter. Recommends she be offered post on one month's approval.

3/10/1902: SRC Brandfort to CSRC: She thinks she has been hardly treated in not being consulted in the handing over of the orphanages but in any case she intended resigning as she intends to be married before the end of the year. In connection with the orphanage she has worked steadily and well under great difficulties.
