Owner: Dirk Grobler; Dirk Grobler, a surrendered burgher, who voluntarily rejoined commando and gave it information which he had been able to obtain during his peaceful residence on his farm, with the result that one of our observation posts was attacked. This man was seen riding with and directing the commando. [Source, Cd 524, p.11]
