Title Ordinance for giving due effect to the Provisions of an Act of Parliament, passed in the third and fourth Years of the reign of His Majesty King William the Fourth, entitled "an Act for the abolition of Slavery throughout the British Colonies, for promoting the Industry of the manumitted Slaves, and for compensating the Persons hitherto entitled to the services of such Slaves," and dated the 28th day of August, 1833.

Repealed by This Ordinance, which referred wholly to the treatment of apprenticed labourers manumitted by the Act for the Abolition of Slavery, ceased to be in operation after the 1st December, 1838, the date of final emancipation.
