THE COLLECTION

The records of the Cape Night Schools Association (1946-1967) consist of the Constitution, minutes, correspondence, newsletters, records of the various night schools and their organisation, and then the record of their closure by the Government in 1967.

These records were used by Mrs Daphne Wilson, former Principal of the Night Schools, as material used for her M Phil thesis, the records have been deposited in the Manuscripts and Archives Department of the University of Cape Town Libraries by Mrs Wilson.
