Date appointed (as staff):12/12/1900
Notes:1/3/1901: Paid £1 pd.

3/12/1901: Tregaskis to Superintendent, Heilbron: asking for leave - feels badly in need of a change; the Mos, dispensers etc are settled into their work, their duties clearly define & medical work of the camp running smoothily; although death rate is still very high, the number of patients under treatment is less than it was but fears the numbers will go up again in January and February as that is the time when enteric is worst here.
10/12/1901: Applied for railway pass for self & wife to Cradock & back for 3 weeks.

2/3/1903: Tregaskis to CSRC: Asking for bonus; has served in camp longer than any other official and never allowed private practice to interfere with his camp work; Acted as PMO for over 2 years. 'In the earlier days when Mos were only obtainable with difficulty, I cannot hope to convey to you the demands made upon one and the difficulties which had to be met.' Has been paid less than other PMOs.
6/2/1903: Reply: Appreciates work but refuses bonus.
