Notes:5/12/1901, Jacobs, SRC to CSRC: Told Dr Polson that his services no longer required; leaves camp today. Regrets the question of hospital comforts should have been brought to your notice through an indirect channel. Would certainly have put a stop to it if he had known that it was going on. Has been obliged formerly to leave the Register of Hospital Comforts in the hands of the SMO and Hospital matron, but has now taken steps to ensure that a repetition of such affairs cannot occur in future without his knowledge.
