Notes:18/3/1901: PH Zwanepoel, Green Point POW camp to Mily Gov, Bloemfontein: Asks that his sister, widow Dezaager be allowed to remain at Bethulie. She is a sickly woman and has a child suffering from dropsy in its head which requires a great amount of attention and it will be very hard for her to be removed. Her husband died in Ceylon and she would like to live with her mother in Bethulie.
6/4/1901: RM Bethulie to Secy ORC Admin: The widow Dezaager with her child is now in RC at Springfontein. Her mother is a very old woman and I have allowed her to remain in Bethulie on account of her great age and infirmity. I allow her a ration of confiscated meal and meat daily. I have no objection to Mrs Dezaager returning and residing in this town with her mother and should think it advisable on account of the sickness of her child.
9/4/1901: CSRC to Secy ORC Admin: I have today instructed SRC Springfontein to send Mrs Dezaager and child to Bethulies.
