Notes:23/4/1902: H Green to CSRC: Asking to betransferred to another camp, and not again to be appointed matron of a hospital.
23/4/1902: LG Martinius, SMO to SRC Brandfort: Sister Green told me that she resigns because she does not want to be matron in a hospital, where some of the nursing sisters get £10 a month more salary than the matron.
24/4/1902: SRC Brandfort to CSRC: Forwarding resignation. Regrets as she is an excellent hospital matron in every way. I am of the same opinion as the PMO that her application has something to do with the army sisters, at the same time I believe she prefers her former position which was that of camp matron.
