I caught enteric fever while nursing in the RC Harrismith and had a very severe illness and have not been fit for duty since. However I have benefited by the voyage home and the change. But as the summer this year is so cold and changeable I shall be glad to return in a few weeks time. I was not sent out from Englsnd to the camps but was engaged in the country and employed in the camp from 13/5/1901.
