Notes:27/11/1901: AD Luckhoff to DA: Being now convalescent after an attack of enteric fever, is contemplating a visit home to recruit his health, and asks for permit to Durbanville, CC. Is progressing favourably; his cousin has come, and will accompany him home. Would like to go via Graaff Reinet, to spend a few weeks with his uncle, Rev C Murray. His medical adviser thinks he will be fit to travel on 4th.
4/12/1901: SRC Bethulie to CSRC: Revd Luckhoff has now left the hospital but his brain is very weak and I am wishing to make arrangements for some relation to come up to take him to his parents at Durbanville.
